Hargeisa-The Governor of Salel Region, Prof. Ahmed Mohamed “Dhegayare,” has said that the Somaliland government is undertaking wide-ranging reconstruction efforts aimed at restoring the historic prosperity of Saylac and the wider Salel region.
Speaking on the ongoing developments, the governor highlighted the reconstruction of the historic Qiblatayn Mosque in Saylac, describing it as one of the most significant religious and historical landmarks in Islam.
“The work is underway. The Qiblatayn Mosque is being rebuilt, and soon the ancient landmarks of the Salel region will rise once again, proudly reflecting their rich history,” Prof. Dhegayare said.
