Hargeisa-The National Drought Relief Committee of Somaliland has received a donation of 120 million Somaliland Shillings (SLSH) from the Ministry of Planning and National Development to support communities affected by the ongoing drought.
The contribution reflects a strong sense of national solidarity and the government’s commitment to addressing humanitarian needs. The committee expressed its appreciation to the Minister, the Director General, and the staff of the ministry for their support.
It also called on other government institutions to follow this example by demonstrating responsibility, compassion, and accountability in assisting vulnerable communities.
