Hargeisa-The Government of the Republic of Somaliland has introduced fixed fuel prices in an effort to stabilize the domestic market amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
Under a new directive issued by the Ministry of Trade and Tourism, petrol has been set at 9,701 Somaliland Shillings per liter, while diesel is priced at 9,592 Somaliland Shillings per liter.
The move is aimed at ensuring a steady supply of fuel and protecting consumers from price fluctuations. Authorities have also instructed fuel traders not to increase the prices of imported fuel without prior government approval.
