Hargeisa-The National Electoral Commission of the Republic of Somaliland has successfully concluded a ten-day BRIDGE training programme in Hargeisa, aimed at strengthening knowledge and practices in electoral management and governance.
The training brought together commission officials from district, regional, and national levels, including departmental directors, to engage in detailed sessions on the principles, procedures, and modern methods of voter registration and election administration.
Using the internationally recognized BRIDGE curriculum, participants enhanced their theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and administrative competencies.
The programme was jointly organized by the National Electoral Commission and the Netherlands Multiparty Institute for Democracy (NIMD), which continues to support electoral development and democratic consolidation in Somaliland.
