Hargeisa-The Chairman of the WADDANI Party, Mr. Hersi Ali Haji Hassan, has reiterated that the aspirations of the people of Somaliland are not only firmly established but will continue to be realized in the years ahead.
In an interview conducted in Hargeisa, Xirsi underscored the resilience and clarity of purpose among Somaliland’s population, noting that their long-term national goals remain unwavering.
He stressed that no actions taken by the Federal Government of Somalia can undermine or redirect Somaliland’s political course or development agenda.Hersi described Somalia’s recent actions as unjust and ineffective, emphasizing that they hold no bearing on Somaliland’s future trajectory.
“The aspirations of the people of Somaliland have already been achieved, and they will continue to be achieved. Somalia cannot change that reality, and the actions it is taking are unjust,” he said.
His remarks come at a time of heightened regional political debate, with Somaliland leaders consistently reaffirming their commitment to sovereignty, stability, and sustained development, despite mounting external pressures.
