Hargeisa โ The Minister of Information of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Barkhad Jama Batun, accompanied by the Deputy Minister and the Director General, held a consultative meeting with Somalilandโs media associations, including SOLJA, WIJA, and FIMA.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation and working relations between the Ministry and media organizations.
Key discussions centered on accelerating the approval of the Press Law currently before the House of Representatives, as well as enhancing collaboration in organizing the upcoming May 18 National Day celebrations.
Participants also agreed to reinforce joint efforts in safeguarding the sovereignty of the Republic of Somaliland and advancing its international recognition agenda.
