Hargeysa-The Government of Taiwan has granted educational scholarships to seven officers from the Somaliland National Army and Police to enhance their skills and support the country’s security institutions.
The awarding ceremony, held at the Ministry of Defense and National Security, was attended by senior officials, including Minister of Defense H.E. Mohamed Yusuf Ali and Taiwan’s Ambassador to Somaliland, Mr. Allen Lou.
Officials emphasized the growing partnership between Taiwan and Somaliland and encouraged the officers to utilize the opportunity to strengthen Somaliland’s security forces.
