Hargeisa- The newly appointed Minister of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Awareness of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Barkhad Jama Batuun, conducted an inspection of the offices and departments that make up the ministry.
The Minister was accompanied during the inspection by the Deputy Minister, Mr. Muse Askar Guuleed, and the Director General of the Ministry, Mr. Abdisaalan Mahmoud Duale Ilkacase.
The Minister visited each department and key operational offices, where department directors and section heads briefed him on the important duties they perform for the ministry and the nation.
Among the departments inspected by the Minister, where work was actively ongoing, were the National Television Department, including program and news studios; the Radio Department, including broadcasting and transmission units; the archives; and the Culture Department.
Other departments visited by the Minister included the Administration Department, Human Resources Department, the SOLNA News Agency, the Public Awareness Department, the Communications Department, and other offices essential to the ministryโs operations.
The Minister commended the staff for their hard work and daily service to the nation, and encouraged them to further double their efforts.
