Hargeisa-The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro), has briefed the 53rd session of the Council of Ministers on his recent official visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he attended the World Governments Summit in Dubai.
According to a statement issued by Presidential Spokesperson Hussein Adan Ige (Deyr), the President participated in the high-level global forum for the second consecutive year. The summit is regarded as one of the world’s leading international gatherings of heads of state, policymakers, and business leaders.
During the visit, President Irro held a series of meetings with international leaders, senior officials, and investors, focusing on strengthening diplomacy, attracting investment, enhancing security cooperation, and advancing economic infrastructure development.
He emphasized that Somaliland’s participation in major global platforms boosts its international profile and opens new avenues for strategic partnerships, as the government continues efforts to promote statehood, economic growth, and international recognition.
