Hargeisa-The House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Planning, and Investment held a high-level consultative meeting today to review proposed amendments to the Draft Diplomatic Missions Act.
The session, inaugurated by Acting Speaker Hon. Saeed Mire Farah (Giire), aimed to ensure Somalilandโs diplomatic framework is aligned with international standards.
The forum brought together experienced diplomats, legal experts, and scholars to refine the draftโs language concerning mission mandates and diplomatic protocols.
The recommendations gathered will be incorporated into the bill before it proceeds to the next legislative stage in the House of Representatives.
