Boorama โ Somalilandโs Minister of Interior and Security, Abdale Mohamed Arab, on Saturday chaired a regional security meeting in Awdal Region, held at the administrative headquarters in Borama.
During the meeting, Awdal Governor Abdirashid Hassan Mataan provided a comprehensive briefing on the overall security and administrative situation in the region.
The interior minister commended regional authorities for their effective coordination and collaboration, highlighting their role in maintaining stability.
He urged officials to sustain their performance and continue delivering efficient public services to local communities.
The meeting brought together senior security commanders operating in Awdal, along with regional coordinators from various government ministries, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security oversight and inter-agency cooperation.
